New features on Laser Short Courses

FOR ORGANISATIONS:

Submit learner name change requests on your account

We have a new feature for Org. Admin’s who need to request a name change for a Learner they have on their account. Just navigate to the ‘Learners’ tab and click the ‘Request Name Change’ button next to the learner detail (the last column), enter the new name, and click ‘Save’. A member of the Laser Short Course team will approve / deny the name change request within 48 hours. If the request is denied, we will contact you and explain the reason or request more information.


FOR ORGANISATIONS:

Add learners with existing accounts to your Organisation

We have a new feature for Org. Admin’s who need to link a learner with an existing account on Laser Short Courses to your Organisation. You need to send them a passcode, which they will enter on their account to join your organisation. Find your passcode by navigating to the ‘My organisation’ tab, click on ‘Details & Admins’ and scroll down to ‘Pass code’. You can see your unique passcode here, generate a new passcode, and save your preferences for ‘Accepting new members’ to yes / no.


FOR LEARNERS:

Join an Organisation!

We have a new feature for Learners who need to link their account to a Organisation. You will need to ask your employer or training provider for a pass code before following these steps: Navigate to the ‘My Profile’ tab and scroll down to ‘Join an Organisation’, enter the unique passcode and click ‘Join’.
